Top 10 Posts of 2025

The end of one year and beginning of the next is a good time to reflect on what lies behind and look forward to the things that lie ahead. This practice can be instructive, particularly in blogging.
By looking at my stats for the past 12 months, I can note the posts that seem most to resonate with my readers and can plan to post similar content in the future. So let’s take a look at my most popular posts from 2025:
Top 10 Posts from 2025
10. Pray for Your Husband from Head to Toe
Lifting your husband up to the LORD routinely is one of the best things you can do for him. And our head-to-toe prayer will help you do exactly that.

9. Recipe for a Happy Marriage
I wrote this little recipe for a happy marriage over a decade ago on a lark (mainly because it seemed like a fun way to use the cute graphic). Little did I suspect then what kind staying power this post would have!

8. A House Blessing
This free printable house blessing looks lovely framed and provides a good reminder to pray for God’s blessing upon our homes and everyone who resides or visits there.

7. Praying for Adult Children
No matter how old they get, our kids will never outgrow their need for our prayers. Let this free printable Prayer for Adult Children inspire you to stay on your knees, even after your babies are grown.

6. Can a Married Woman have Male Friends
In this podcast episode, I tackle a question I hear a lot, both from husbands and wives: Should a married woman have close male friends?

5. A Prayer for Fathers
Support your dad in prayer with our free printable guide: Praying for Your Father

4. A Prayer for My Daughter
Here’s a free printable prayer guide with specific requests to Pray over Your Daughter.

3. Verses to Read When Battling Big Emotions
I created this free printable list of verses to read when battling big emotions in response to another reader request. So pleased with how it turned out — and the fact that it was so popular with so many of my readers!

2. A Prayer for My Son
This prayer for sons was slightly more popular than the corresponding prayer for daughters. I’m not sure if that’s because more of my readers are mothers of boys, or if boys typically drive moms to their knees more frequently than girls. What do you think?

1. 31 Verses for a Husband to Pray over His Wife
A sweet reader wrote to ask if I’d publish 31 verses for husbands to pray over their wives, as he wanted to be more faithful in praying for his.
Of course, I was happy to help. Who could resist such a thoughtful request? It was time well spent. Turns out, this was my #1 downloaded post in 2025.

Interestingly, only two of these posts appear on the list of my top five posts of all time:
My Top 5 Posts of All Time
And only one of them was written this year. If I look only at what I published in 2025, here’s a short list of the top performers:

5. A Prayer for Singles
This prayer for singles was another reader request. It contains many of the same Bible-based prayers I pray over my own unmarried children and friends.

4. 25 Ways to be a Good Neighbor
Although I wrote this post several years ago originally, I released 25 Ways to Be a Good Neighbor this year as a podcast episode, and the reboot did really well.

3. A Prayer for Test Takers
Like so many of my newest free printable prayer guides, I created this prayer for test takers at the request of a newsletter subscriber. I make it a habit to pray with my college-aged kids before they take any big tests, and these are the prayers I pray over them.

2. A Prayer of Faith
This prayer of faith is really the starting block for all other prayers, since “without faith it is impossible to please God. For anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

1. Verses to Read When Battling Big Emotions
As I noted earlier, this free printable list of verses to read when dealing with big emotions was prompted by a reader request and is the only post I wrote in 2025 to make the year’s top 10 list.

Common to all three lists are lots of pretty prayer printables and podcast episodes, so I’ll plan to share more of the same in 2026. In the meantime, I hope you have a joyous and fruitful new year!
