Proverbs 14:1 tells us, “The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands.”  Let’s explore together what it means to wisely build your house on the sure foundation of the Word of God. To create a vibrant, joyful environment where your family members can thrive. To forge a strong, safe haven that is filled with peace and love.  And to create a warm, and inviting place for friends and family to gather.

Prayers

Philippians 4:6 urges us to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”  One of my favorite ways to do this is by praying scripture over family, friends, trials, and tribulations. Our free printable prayer guides will help you do the same.

Microsystems for Managing Your Home

A listener asked me to cover some of the microsystems for managing our home that my husband and I put in place to keep everything running smoothly.

So this week, we’re discussing microsystems aimed at maintaining order in the home, then I’ll eventually do a podcast on various microsystems we’ve put in place for maintaining relationships: nurturing our marriage, raising our children, celebrating holidays, forging friendships, etc.

Here are just a few highlights from Daniel’s gra Here are just a few highlights from Daniel’s graduation from nursing school yesterday. He made it his goal to finish a BSN at age 19, and thanks to lots of CLEP exams and dual credit and the abundant and sustaining grace of God, he made it with several months to spare. The whole family is so proud of him. He was only alotted seven tickets to the graduation ceremony, so it was a small cohort of us cheering him on from the balcony, but a bigger crowd of siblings, nieces, and nephews attended his pinning ceremony the day before. Cap and gown photos were taken by my sweet daughter Rebekah. She got some lovely family shots, too, but I try not to post too many pics of grandkids without their parents’ permission, so I didn’t include any of those. #classof2025 #nursingschoolgrad #uttyler #homeschoollife
