John 3:16 — “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Romans 5:8 — “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 3:23-24 — “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God….”
Romans 6:23 — “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 — “He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we may be made the righteousness of God through Him.”
Romans 10:9-10 — “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Romans 10:13 — “…for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
The important thing to remember is that none of us can ever earn our way to heaven. Salvation comes only by grace through faith. If you have never put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, I urge you to do so without delay. He promises to answer all who call upon His name.
Got some great stuff in here Jennifer! Thanks you so much for your work and good example! I really like your list of benefits of having a large family. The world has been pushing an agenda for a good while now that is so very anti-family. Faithful Christians most certainly must continue to pray, as the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion seeking the ruin of souls.
God bless you for your witness!
By the way, have you ever thought of joining the Catholic Church? Properly understood, Holy Mother Church and Her teachings are the most beautiful thing I’ve discovered this side of Heaven!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Nathan. You are not the first friend who has counted our children, decided we’d make great Catholics, and tried to convert us, but we are very happy just being passionate Baptists. Ha! We love the little Bible church we’ve attended for the past decade or so and have no intentions of leaving it. Properly understood, the Doctrines of Grace are one of the most beautiful things we’ve discovered this side of Heaven: Salvation by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, for the glory of God alone. Amen?
Amen 🙂
Amen well said.
Jennifer, What kind of church do you attend? If you don’t mind my asking.
I don’t mind your asking, Tammy. My husband and I were both raised Southern Baptist, but our family currently attends a non-denominational Bible church. We’ve been worshipping with this small congregation of like minded believers for almost nine years now and count ourselves very blessed to be a part of it.
I am so inspired by your Blog.. Thank you!
Wow! Loved your witness. Strength is in His Word. Proverbs 24:3-4 is one of my favorite Scriptures. I look forward to checking out your blog.
Thank you so much for your beautiful testimony of your sweet life…..I am so loving all of your helpful info and Godly wisdom for mommas and wives alike.
I NEED this so much and am so inspired every time I look at your sweet family and hear the amazing testimony of a selfless life surrendered to such an AMAZING savior!!
Blessings to you and all of your family!!
