  1. I decided to stay home with my babies instead of furthering my education (for now, will continue in a few years). It has been very rewarding. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1

  2. I had my children starting in the 70’s when the women’s movement was in full swing. I know that it was hard listening to my friends who went on to become doctors and lawyers and so on. I chose to have children first and to stay at home if we could afford too. I tried not to feel like I was missing out on a big career like my former friends, and I am glad that I did stay at home,it was such a rewarding place in my season of life, and I have 2 emotionally healthy adult children who have blessed us with 4 wonderful grandchildren, and they have decided to stay at home to raise and nurture their children as well. I thank God everyday that I was able to do this.
