  1. Mine definitely would appreciate my taking time to de-clutter and deep clean more often. Although he is very sweet, and doesn’t complain.

  2. My hubby would love for me to organize more and keep the house more clean. We have 4 kids under 5 years and 2 of those are 6 month old twins! He’s been so understanding about me not having enough hours in the day for everything. Dr. John Trainer says it best “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” The organizing and cleaning will come…hopefully very soon!!

    1. Speaking from experience, Christy, there’s a good chance he may even help with some of those “household duties” once you give him top billing again. That will make life better for both of you. 🙂

  3. My Hubbie would love for me to prioritize him again. We have two kids under two and barely have time to pamper him the way I used to.

    1. It’s so easy to marginalize the marriage relationship once children arrive on the scene, but — for the kids’ sake as much as your own — it’s more important than ever to nurture your marriage in that demanding season!

  4. So I asked. And he first said: you are already wonderful. That was so nice to hear <3 He is so sweet.
But I asked again… and my husband would love it (and wants me to prioritize) keeping the kitchen counter straight. I always put to do lists, cups, pens, wrappers etc. on the counter and he doesn’t like that. So I am going to try my hardest!

  5. My husband (and my family, too) would really love it if I would get a hold of the paper clutter and finish unpacking our home after moving this summer from MN to PA. My husband would also love if I would set up a shared budget on the YNAB app/website. Gonna do that today, in fact, as a Valentine’s Day gift for him. Thanks for your ministry.

  6. I know my husband would appreciate if I would prioritize making sure he gets alone time more often, since he helps me with the kids so often once he is home from work.

    1. Yes, that’s so important, isn’t it, Shannon? I love the verse in Proverbs 31 that talks about a husband being able to trust in his wife confidently and rely on and believe in her safely. That would include his being able to depend on her to do the things he’s asked her to do. That should be the goal for all of us!

  7. My hubby would love for me to remember to pick up everything I need from the store when I do the weekly shopping. That way he wouldn’t have to stop at the store on his way home from work to pickup whatever I need to complete dinner that night. (We only have 1 car so running to the store while he is at work is not possible.)

    1. This was a problem for us, too, Lori, until we discovered Walmart’s FREE grocery pick-up service. Now I shop online at home, where it’s easy to check in the pantry to make sure I have the ingredients I need. I’m less likely to forget items that way.

Once I check out, one of us drives around the corner to Walmart where employees load our groceries right into the car for us. We never even have to get out of the car! I usually schedule pick up on Sundays, so we can stop on our way home from church. If your local store offers this service, you might give it a try. And if you’ll use my affiliate link to sign up, you and I will both get $10 off our next order. 🙂
